Travel Insurance: Optional Allianz Travel Insurance is available and will cover you against most penalties if you cancel because of a covered medical reason. Trip insurance is non-refundable and must be purchased with your final payment in order for it to cover pre-existing medical conditions. We STRONGLY recommend the purchase of insurance. A formal Allianz insurance quote will be included in your final payment invoice notice for your consideration. The quote will NOT be part of the balance due. The purchase of travel insurance is a separate purchase made directly to Allianz Insurance Company. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you will be required to sign a waiver declining insurance as proof you were offered insurance by Cruise Planners. Insurance policy quotes are based upon the total cost of the travel and your age. If you are not residing within the United States, we will be happy to provide you with the Cruise Line vacation protection plan for your consideration. If you do not travel with appropriate travel insurance coverage, you assume all risk associated with travel and transportation on the cruise. While at sea or in port, the availability of medical care may be limited and/or delayed. You acknowledge that all or part of the cruise vacation may be in areas where medical care and/or evacuation may not be available.
Proof of Citizenship: All passengers are required to have a valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It is the responsibility of all non-US citizens to check with the local immigrations office, embassy, or consulate to determine documentary requirements. There is no refund if a passenger is denied boarding the ship for lack of proper documents. Your name on the Passport MUST match exactly to the name used for this booking. Failure to assure that all names match will incur a name change penalty by the cruise line after final payment payable by the passenger. Please see the TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION page under the Cruise Details for more detailed information.
Travel Documents: Passengers are required to complete the Passenger Check-in process with Royal Caribbean prior to departure. The cruise line will communicate to each PRIMARY guest when the check-in process is open for guests to complete (usually around 30 days prior to departure). Detailed instructions will be sent to you once you book your cruise. You will be able to complete your check-in process online with your royalcaribbean.com account or by using your Royal Caribbean app. We will have a document briefing 3 to 4 weeks prior to departure.
Guests with Special Needs: Royal Caribbean requires notification of any special medical, physical (including pregnancy) or special diet needs at time of booking. Please advise Cruise Planners if you need wheelchair assistance at the pier. Also, if you need to rent any medical equipment, please let us know at time of making your reservation.
